Privacy Policy

CaseTracker helps users review USCIS case activity around a receipt number. This policy explains what information the service handles and how it is used.

Information you provide

The service is designed to receive a USCIS receipt number and a selected case type. Do not enter names, A-Numbers, Social Security numbers, passport numbers, addresses, immigration documents, or other sensitive personal information.

How information is used

We use the receipt number to request case-status information from the configured USCIS API environment and to create the nearby-case activity view. The current public site uses USCIS sandbox staging data for testing. Receipt observations may be cached to improve repeated requests, including the receipt number, case type, status category, and last-checked time.

Service providers

The service may use Vercel for hosting, USCIS for case-status responses, Supabase for authentication and account data, and Stripe for paid-plan checkout and billing. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services and are governed by their own policies.

Saved USCIS history

If you choose to use the private history feature, the complete JSON response you paste is stored with your account so we can show snapshots, events, notices, and plain-language explanations. Do not paste a password, access token, or unrelated document. You can remove an individual case from the history view or deactivate your account; account deactivation deletes the account's saved case history and account records, subject to limited technical, security, billing, or legal records that may need to be retained.

Security and retention

USCIS login credentials and passwords are not requested by the private history feature. API credentials used for server-side case analysis are kept on the server and are not intended to be exposed in the browser. We retain saved snapshots, technical logs, and cached observations only as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
